Amanda Pohl a 2023 candidate for Chesterfield Clerk of Court. She is the best choice to serve this community as an experienced executive leader dedicated to public service and improving systems. The Clerk role is not legal, it is an administrative leadership position. Amanda is a policy implementation expert, has the leadership experience, and will make our Circuit Court more accessible, transparent, and functional for all.

Pohl has led at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to managing people and processes, her experience includes national efforts to increase women’s political power, supporting women who run for office or seek an appointed position, increasing ballot access for all voters, building partnerships across diverse groups and geographies, serving on the Virginia Fair Housing Board, serving the Chesterfield NAACP, and educating graduate social work students in research, administration, and human behavior.
